Microsoft Unveils Copilot Pro and Personalized Chatbots. Full details

Microsoft Copilot Pro unveiled. With over 5 billion chats and more than 5 billion images generated by AI, the success of Microsoft’s chatbot continues.

Perhaps to remember such a success we have to go back to the dawn of Windows and the launch of the Xbox. Copilot continues to rise, so much so that Microsoft has reached a milestone in the use of its chatbot, with over 5 billion chats and more than 5 billion images generated by AI.

A path made of continuous improvements and feedback that the giant uses to improve the platform which now permeates all its main products. Two examples above all: the suggestions of creators, researchers, programmers, and others, on how to get faster to the latest news in generative AI, and those of “simple” users on how to make it easier to access Copilot from Microsoft 365 apps.

To address these needs, Microsoft is announcing additional options for power users, creators, and anyone who wants to take their Copilot experience to the next level.

Starting with the introduction of Copilot Pro, a new premium subscription for individuals that offers a higher level of service for AI features, such as the ability to create Copilot GPTs.

From the average user’s perspective, the organization is expanding the Copilot app globally for iOS and Android, as well as across many professional platforms for small to medium business and enterprise customers.

The New Levels

Copilot Pro is a new subscription that offers the most advanced AI features and capabilities, available for $20 per month.

Copilot Pro provides a single AI experience that works across devices, understanding context across the web, PC, apps, and soon, phone, to deliver the right answers when you need them.

The Copilot also comes to Word and Excel, in preview and only in English, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote on PC, Mac, and iPad for Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers.

With Copilot Pro you will have access to the GPT-4 Turbo engine during peak hours for faster performance and, soon, the ability to switch between models to optimize the experience.

Bing Image Creator becomes Image Creator Designer, a platform that guarantees greater speed with 100 increments per day and offers more detailed image quality and a horizontal format.

40% of Fortune 100 companies have participated in Microsoft’s Early Access Program, previewing AI in their systems.

“Customers such as Visa, BP, Honda, Pfizer, and partners Accenture, KPMG, and PwC are already using Copilot, which means thousands of people across different sectors and industries have started working in new ways, with an AI-powered co-pilot at their side. Today we are excited to announce that Copilot for Microsoft 365 is available to organizations of all sizes.”

Copilot for Microsoft 365 can be used by SMBs with the Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard plans. Customers can purchase from one to 299 seats for $30 per person per month.

“We are eliminating the 300-seat minimum purchase for commercial plans and making Copilot available to Office 365 E3 and E5 customers (previously a Microsoft 365 license was required). Commercial customers can purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 through the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider partner network.”

Conclusion

As Copilot expands, Microsoft wants to continue offering a great, free experience to everyone. Here then are Copilot GPTs, which allow you to customize the behavior of Microsoft Copilot on a topic of particular interest to the user.

A handful of Copilot GPTs have begun rolling out for specific purposes like fitness, travel, cooking, and more. Copilot Pro users will soon also be able to create their own Copilot GPTs using Copilot GPT Builder.

Microsoft has also added Copilot to the Microsoft 365 mobile application for Android and iOS. This new feature, available next month, will allow you to access the chatbot directly from the app and easily export created content to a Word or PDF document.

“With today’s announcements, we continue to bring Copilot to more customers, with more options that are right for them. Whether you want to start using Copilot for free or want to integrate it into your business platforms, there is a Copilot for everyone, for every need” Said Microsoft.
